The Inverness system uses a hand-pressured instrument to administer the piercing with pre-sealed hypoallergenic piercing earrings. This process keeps the earrings sealed until they are being used to pierce your ears, ensuring the entire process is simple, safe, and sterile.
At 2 Waves, anyone under the age of 18 will need to have a parent of legal guardian accompany them to the piercing appointment and consent to the piercing. If you are having one ear pierced, the cost is $30, for both ears the cost is $55.
Once you have gotten your new piercing (or piercings) it is incredibly important that you take care of them and make sure they do not get infected as they heal! To clean your piercings, you should use a saline solution twice every single day. It is not recommended that you use an alcohol based antiseptic, as this can dry out your piercings, which will lead to irritation and interfere with the healing process. Ear lobe piercings generally take about 2-3 months to heal, but this will be different for every person. The most important thing is to focus on keeping your piercings clean and allowing them to heal at their own pace!
