The Classic look provides a clean, natural look, with a ratio of one false lash to one natural lash. The Volume option is for those who are looking for a more full and glamorous look, as three false lashes are applied for every one natural lash. The final option is the Hybrid look, which combines the Classic and Volume options. This is perfect for those who may have thinner spots in their eyelashes, requiring more volume to be added in certain areas in order to achieve the desired result. Whichever look you are hoping to achieve, our lash technicians will be there to help you choose the option that is best for you!
When you do come in for your first appointment, please remember to have your eyelashes clean and free of all makeup! If it is your first time at 2 Waves, you will also need to fill out a health form, so please arrive a bit early for your appointment to allow time for that. In the first 24 hours following your appointment, you should avoid the shower, steam, and sweat so you do not damage your new lashes.
How To Take Care of Your Eyelash Extensions
In order to keep your lashes looking great, you have to make sure you are taking proper care of them. Avoid rubbing your eyes or pulling on your lashes, do not use an eyelash curler, do not wear mascara, and avoid wearing oil-based makeup or using oil-based makeup remover. In addition to taking care of your lashes at home, you will need to come in for regular refill appointments to keep your lashes looking full and gorgeous all the time. Refills will fill in the gaps where your eyelash extensions have fallen out because your lashes have continued to grow. Work with your lash technician to determine the refill schedule that is going to work for you, as everyone’s eyelashes grow at a different rate and will therefore need an individual refill schedule.
